November 2024 | HKSWAN hosted our fellow members Rasha Khoury, Nasrien E. Ibrahim and Julie Silver to discuss women in healthcare. These three Harvard Alumni shared their perspectives on why female leadership in the health sector can transform the care women receive. They discussed some of the challenges women face today when receiving care, and how addressing the leadership gap can help address this, as well as how wider female leadership can positively impact technological innovation.

With only 2% of the world's water supplies, the region faces severe droughts impacting 50% of the agricultural workforce— mainly rural women. November 2019 - HKSWN hosted a live webinar with Allison Shapira on “Helping Women Around the World Find Their Voice.” Allison, an expert in public speaking and a former opera singer, led a private online workshop for HKSWN members.
